Ertan Özdil

Ertan Özdil founded weclapp in 2008 and led the company until his exit in 2025. Over that period weclapp grew from a startup into an established company with more than 180 employees. Ertan is an expert in accounting, ERP, software and entrepreneurship. His career began in the early 1990s with the development of an ERP system for an IT wholesaler. In 2001 he built an open source solution for customer relationship management.

The know-how from those two projects, together with numerous process consultations inside companies, led to the trend-setting idea behind weclapp: cloud-based ERP software for every division of a company. He was among the first to recognise the potential of such an application and to bring a cloud solution for business management to market.
